Czech Easter / České Velikonoce

Czech Easter tradition is that men make a 'tatar' from new willow branches (which is quite difficult in Canadian environment) and transfer the fresh new life into the women they love. So, here are all the women who were willing to get beaten by Sammy and tata, while tata was saying a poem.

Here is the making of tatar process, as you can see weather was finally good to us and it looks like winter is gone.

It is nice how boys are cooperating but ladies seem to be rather surprised or bewildered. Here in Czech R. boys usually receive a ribbon and coloured eggs , sometimes alcohol and that is disaster for some of them. In the afternoon you can see them very tired..:)
